Can Art Stacking Contest
- This event has passed.
Get ready to showcase your creativity at our Can-Art Stacking Contest! Co-sponsored by the Office of Student Involvement and the KU Foundation, this is a unique challenge where teams build impressive sculptures using canned goods, all to benefit the Bear Essentials food pantry. Each masterpiece not only demonstrates your artistic flair but also helps fight hunger on campus. Let’s build a brighter future together – join the fun and make a meaningful impact at this one-of-a-kind event! This event will be held in the McFarland Student Union’s Nancy Jean Stump Seiger ’54 Multipurpose Room. Preplanning starts at 5:30 p.m. and the actual building begins promptly at 6 p.m. There is no cost to enter, but team registration is required. Dr. Amy Pfeiler-Wunder, Kristen Tuerk ’84, ’94 ’09, and a member of the KU Facilities Department will be prepared to judge your creations after 8 p.m. on Friday, October 25. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners! Let the building begin! For more information, please phone 610-683-4110 or email together@kuf.org.
