This course is designed to introduce participants to the science of nutrition and help them make healthier food choices. Topics include the six categories of nutrients, their effects on the body, and common food sources for each. Participants will also participate in a personal diet analysis to determine whether any nutrient needs are being met.
Important course information: No supplies are needed. The instructor will provide all course materials. The course will be delivered asynchronously. Each session will last approximately one hour. Participants should plan to commit 2-3 hours per week.
