Presidential Ambassadors

Founded in 1997, the Kutztown University Presidential Ambassadors (KUPA) is a student organization that works directly with the President’s Office and the Kutztown University Foundation.

Our mission is to support events that connect current students with alumni, faculty, staff, and community.

Requirements:

Undergraduate students:

  • Is currently enrolled at Kutztown University.
  • Has paid student activities fees.
  • Is in good academic standing and maintains a 2.5 GPA.
  • Is in good judicial standing.
  • Can be an active member for three semesters.
  • Minimum of 18 years or older.
  • Has submitted an application for an interview for candidacy to membership along with a cover letter, one applicant recommendation form, and resume (optional).

Once selected as a member, the following requirements must be met to remain active in the Kutztown University Presidential Ambassadors (KUPA):

  • Participate in three events in the fall semester, plus Homecoming.
  • Participate in two spring semester events, plus I Heart KU Week and Dinner with Golden Bears.
  • Attend every other Thursday general membership meetings (one unexcused allowed each semester).
  • Check-in to the Wiesenberger Alumni House once per week (one unexcused allowed each semester)

Graduate students:

  • Volunteer at one event per semester.
  • Attend at least one general membership meeting.
    • If attending a general meeting is not possible, an active graduate member will be required to volunteer at two events per semester.
  • Follow the GPA requirements of the Kutztown University Graduate School.
  • Check-in to the Wiesenberger Alumni House three times throughout the semester as indicated by the executive board.
